Intensely scented of crushed raspberries and blackberries with a pretty perfume of violets, wild thyme and mossy bark. Light to medium-bodied, the intensity of flavors is nicely juxtaposed by the ethereal elegance, with soft, fine grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with lingering earthy notes.
Littorai Wines was founded in 1993 by Heidi and Ted Lemon. Ted Lemon began his career by studying Enology at the Universite de Bourgogne. He apprenticed at several famous estates in Burgundy: Domaines Dujac, De Villaine, Roumier, Parent and Bruno Clair. He was the first American ever hired as a winemaker and vineyard manager of a Burgundian estate, Domaine Guy Roulot in Meursault.
